Part-Time Computer Programmer/Tutor

Once upon a time I spent more than a decade in information technology, much of it writing code. At the end of that I was a passable programmer in a few ancient languages. Still, when I hear "object oriented" my first though involves the similarities between my wife and Imelda Marcos. I am, however, really good at systems analysis and design. So, I produce spec and have it implemented by others.

Since I love to create, we can't afford to contract all of the coding out, and we've got a ton of projects in the in-box, I've started writing some code again. However, I'm writing in a language I don't really know, with skills that are rusty so I need a Part Time Programmer/Tutor to teach me PHP while helping design and code web applications. The job features a Flexible weekday schedule. $10/hour to start. Excellent PHP and MySQL skills required. Located near MSU. HTML, css, skills a plus. Experience with Ajax would also be helpful.
